I was testing some new editing software and a streamlined editing workflow.
I’ve been editing smaller versions of clips with a free program MPEG Stream clip.
Then at the last step I swap them out for their larger counterparts.
It makes layout and test renders much quicker.
It even allows me to edit on my laptop which can’t really handle HD video at all
